All closures are subject to change due to weather conditions.
Bridge Restrictions
- Until further notice, there is a 16.5 ft height restriction on all vehicles traveling the bridge.
- No wide loads / oversized loads are allowed on the bridge.
Motorists should expect left lane closures and periodic 15-min full closures weekdays from 9am - 3pm and Saturdays from 7am - 5pm.
Eastbound Lane Closures (West Bank to Elmwood):
- Thurs. morning, February 23 to Sat. morning February 25, 1:30 am to 5 am, complete closure of the eastbound lanes on the bridge.
Westbound Lane Closures (Elmwood to West Bank):
- Wed. night, February 22 to Sat. morning, February 25, 10 pm to 1:30 am, complete closure of the westbound lanes on the bridge.
West Bank Impacts
- Mon., February 20 to Sat., February 25, complete closure of Wiegand Drive. Detour available on Hooter Road. All residents, deliveries and emergency vehicles will have access.
- Wed. night, February 22 to Saturday morning, February 25, 7 pm to 5 am each night, closure of one lane on Bridge City Avenue.
- Wed., February 22 at 7 pm to Thurs., February 23 at 5 am, complete closure of River Road and Levee Biking/Walking Trail on the West Bank under the bridge.
- Wed., February 22 to Fri., February 24, 9 am to 2 pm each day, complete closure of River Road and Levee Biking/Walking Trail on the West Bank under the bridge.
- Sat., February 25, 7 am to 5 pm, complete closure of River Road and Levee Biking/Walking Trail on the West Bank under the bridge.
