Bridge Restrictions
- Until further notice, there is a 16.5 ft height restriction on all vehicles traveling the bridge.
- No wide loads / oversized loads are allowed on the bridge.
Eastbound Lane Closures (West Bank to Elmwood):
- Left lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March, 9 through Friday, March 12. One hour clousure will be advised on a daily basis.
Westbound Lane Closures (Elmwood to West Bank):
- Left lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, March, 8 through Friday, March 12. One hour clousure will be advised on a daily basis.
US 90
- The eastbound right lane along US 90 will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p. m. on Wednesday, March 3 starting on the south of the circle and terminating before the east bank-bound approach .
Jefferson Hwy
- The right westbound lane will be closed in order to perform drainage work on the north side of Jefferson Hwy westbound between the overpass and St. George.
The speed limit on the bridge is 35 mph in construction zones.
No oversized loads are allowed on the bridge during the work. Lane closures are subject to change based on weather, wind and site conditions. Alternate routes are the Hale Boggs Bridge and Crescent City Connection.
